For wifi-only orders -- has anyone seen a credit charge post to their card yet?

I ordered mine on a new credit card that I haven't used for anything else yet, so I want to be sure my card wasn't rejected.

As with my previous online orders, CC won't be charged until the item actually ships. I wouldn't expect it to be charged until next Wed/Thursday at the earliest.

As for the new CC, I'd guess they asked you to call the 800 number to verify you received it. Other than that you should be fine.

Nope, they usually charge when the product ships.
Sometimes companies put a pre authorization through but that's not a charge.

I cancelled my 16GB and bought a 32GB. When I did, Apple charged the full amount to my card. It's still pending, so it might drop off, but as of now, the full amount is charged.

Is it a debit card? If so, it will drop off after several days. Apple's policy has always been that they don't charge until shipment.

Credit Card Just charged

I preordered a 32GB Wifi-only iPad as soon as it was available.

My credit card was just charged by Apple.

Just hours after I pre-ordered there was a hold on my account for the full price, then shortly after the $1 charge appeared. My account stayed like this for 3 days and then lifted. My order status is prepared for shipment via phone but stands at "not yet shipped" online. However, I think most peoples state prepared for shipment.

Hi
Its totally depends on bank ...Maybe it is a varies by bank? I use 5/3 Bank and they have a very nice online interface that updates almost instantly..
