Still here.
Note to.. every company in the computing industry that every put people dancing to funky music in their ads for something that has nothing to do with dancing or music:

Just because it works for Apple does not mean it will work for you! Partly because Apple just has that something about them that makes it feel right, but mostly because Apple does it in iPod ads... do you see the connection here!?

</freak out>

what the heck was that crap?

I think it was an ad for cotton, but I'm not sure.

'Bout time they dropped that "fabric of our lives" bs.

I had my vlume up frmo watching some crappy low-quality YouTube thing and I decided to go over to Intel to read about the Moron™ chip.

It nearly blasted me out of my chair.

Not to mention it's insanely bad.

Note: spicyapple's avatar is lovely;)
I agree.

I was thinking of complimenting spicyapple on her good looks via PM, but if it turned out to not actually be what spicyapple looks like (or even moreso if spicyapple is not female at all) that'd just be weird.

Then again, it might've been weird either way. ;)

i dont get it. how come you guys will praise apple for this but really hate intel for it

i like it period

Any video that plays video or music when I click on it can go and die. I just opened a site from the favourite restaurants thread in a new tab and nearly **** myself when it started playing excitable music over the good song I was listening to.

Apple playing it's "I'm a mac" adverts when I go to their site pisses me off as well. I pretty much close any site that does that if I go to it when I'm listening to music, which is often.

Oh, and this intel one doesn't load in Camino for some reason, but yes, after having viewed it in Safari, it's dire and irritating. :p

Anybody getting a black screen with a 'skip' link? I see everyone saying it's bad but I'm clueless.

Are you using Camino? I had the same thing but it was ok in Safari.

This is funny. Most people have no idea what chip is in their computer, and those that do, wont really care for this ad. It seems to be an ad that would miss their target audience. Computer chips are not yet young, cool, and sexy.
