Does any of the developers know if they have fixed the ability to Forward and Reply to Groups in iOS 4?
Starting with OS 3.0 and above, there has been a bug reported on Apple's end. Apps like Group Mailer, and Mail To Group are not able to use this function after 3.0 was released. They worked before. At present, you have to Compose a new message to a Group, and Cut 'n Paste from the message you want forwarded. Before, you could just open the Group Mailer App, click on the Group, click on Forward, and the message that you left open in your Mail App, would have all of the To, cc, and Bcc in the new message to be forwarded.
I am in high hopes this has been fixed in OS 4 since I use Forward quite often.

Hi Scooterman1,
nothing changed.

At the moment the only way a developer can develop such a feature is to duplicate your email accounts and access them by-passing the iPhone Apple Mail app altogether.

Thanks for the Info. I'm sure starting to lean toward the HTC EVO. I went and looked at one a little bit ago at the Sprint store. I talked with a salesman that has had all 3 iPhones, and now has an EVO. It was good having someone that could give a good comparison in person. He was honest on both phones.

The EVO sure looked good.

The rates are lower that AT&T, especially on a Corporate Discount as Sprint is discounted on ALL lines instead of just the primary.

The other thing is the $7.00 insurance. Hard to beat. Even covers liquid and loss.

I was sure hoping that Apple would have fixed this Group Forward problem. I'm thinking, at this point, that it must have been disabled on purpose. It's been far too long to be a bug.

Again, thanks for getting back to me on this question.

Well, in fact it was a "trick" (or we can name it a useful bug) when it worked on iPhone OS < 3. That's a kind of bug it was better not to fix.

I've also tried to copy-paste the recipient list into the mail app but it does not recognize the addresses. The problem with copy-paste the whole message is that you can't copy-paste the attachments...

I was thinking to implement the direct email access thing on my ABContacts app but I don't think most users would be happy to configure their email accounts on multiple apps... (and re-implementing the email access procedures is quite complicated)
