I have a 5th generation Nano. I was listening to it today when all of a sudden, it went silent. I went to the screen to see what was going on and I noticed that it had jumped to the end of the CD I was listening to, but still no sound. I pressed the menu button, it did nothing, then went to the Apple icon. Once it finally came back on, all of my songs were gone.
I have reset it but nothing has changed. I was going to try to restore it but I can't seem to get that to work. It is showing up on my desktop like it is connected but not in itunes or finder. Also, when I connect I get this message:
Mac OS X can't repair the disk "Krista's iPod." You can still open or copy files on the disk, but you can't save changes to files on the disk. Back up the disk and reformat it as soon as you can.
I tried going into disk mode but it still doesn't show up. When I turn my ipod on, I can see all the different menus, but the radio doesn't work.
Can anyone help me with this?? Thanks!
