Hello,

Does anyone know if Siri in iOS 12 has been updated to support multiple language automatically? Meaning Siri would be able to understand both English and Spanish at the same time. It's kind of a pain to having to constantly switch back and forth language just so that I can tell Siri to play music from a Spanish artist when the Siri language is set to English.

As far as I know they haven't mentioned something like that, which would be a very welcome feature for people whose English is not their native language.

What I REALLY want is to be able to do is switch maps language, I want to keep my UI/Siri in english, but maps especially I want in Finnish.

Talking to siri in more than one language is a pain in the neck to be sure, like for example, when asking in spanish to play a song whose name is in english, it can lead to desperation and frustration.

Tell me about it. I never try playing an artist or song using Siri, I would love to be able to as that's one of the benefits with apple music. At least I can start my playlists.

They actually patched in mixed language music playback queries for e.g. the german Siri early in 2018 (march?). This probably had to do with the HomePod launch a few months after that. Seems to work okay, you need to properly pronounce song titles though.

I’d love this
