Hi guys, the last time i bought a 2gb generic ram it was sellng for $159, now its gotten up to 180-200 bucks....

gheeez wats going on, will it be going back down anytme soon

Yeah, RAM seems to have shot upwards recently. Luckily I picked up RAM for my Power Mac and MBP just before it jumped, but its definitely jumped by some margin - 1GB for the MBP was £74 and is now about £95 :(

God, that was lucky. I just got mine today from Crucial, ordered last week, 2 Gigs for £145+VAT. Seems I just got in there in time.

Yeah....I was hoping to ride the downward movement on PC2700 for my PB. Old RAM, you'd think there'd be no reason for the lowest prices to jump from $80 to $110 for 1GB....
