iPod Has this ever happened too you?

Ok, so i was at my friends house helping him download songs from his account. And suddenly, his high school sister came in all angry because we had added a second account to the itunes and she said there could only be one or all the other songs would be deleted off the computer. This happened before to them and had to spend hours on the phone to fix it. Now, this family isn't exactly technically savvy so I dont have any details. Has this ever happened to you and do you have any idea how this might happen?

she said you could add an account but you couldn't download anything.

I think this is bull***** and it is impossible, or is it?

If you were to plug her iPod into his iTunes (I'm assuming they have separate accounts and 1 computer?) then it would ask to Erase & Sync.

With separate accounts there should be no issue.
