Wasn't expecting to see this announcement on Mac Rumors
I'm not sure what to make of this. I love the look of CCD over CMOS but wouldn't mind better high ISO and tethered Liveview that CMOS gives you.
For now I'm pretty happy with my CCD equipped H4D-40.

Looks like an interesting development. I wonder who the sensor developer is. Sony? Fuji? Hasselblad partner with both companies. Hopefully it is a nice big sensor and not too cropped, they need to keep a competitive advantage. I also wonder if they will be breaking into video? A 4K or 8K video from the huge sensor and brilliant HC lenses could be incredible.

For now I'm pretty happy with my CCD equipped H4D-40.
