Have any of you replaced the iPhone 3GS Battery yourself?

I bought an iPod battery for my daughter's iPod Video. It works well.

I am not getting the battery life that I once had, and I am planning to replace the battery. Have any of you tried to replace the battery yourself?

Where is the best company to buy a replacement battery?

For installation guides I would always trust they guys over at ifixit. You can also purchase parts from them, but they are not the cheapest.I would not trust ebay as you could be buying sub-standard products.

As its a 3Gs, its less than a year old.

Just take it back to apple for a replacement.
