Have ATI 5750 in PC - if upgrade can MP 3,1 use?

I heard that one of the recent OS's let us use a lot more GPU's and not require EFI. So I have 3 questions.

1) can I use the 5750 I have in my MP3,1
2) can I use it and leave the current 2600 in there but default to the 5750
3) can I flash the 5750 to be proper efi/apple happy?

Interesting. Doesn't sound quite as easy as others made it out to be, and since I use it for audio production any odd sound issues are an absolute no go for this guy. Thanks!
