Have i deleted Windows?

I was cleaning up my desktop by dragging unwanted files into the trash. 20 minutes later i noticed the WINDOWS HD icon was missing from my desktop I must have dragged it into the trash by accident

Is it gone forever? or can i recover it ?

Im using VMWare Fusion by the way....

VM fusion from bootcamp or did you store your vm machine on the desktop.

If its the former then you will have unmounted the partition, you can get it back by logging out and logging back in again, or via terminal, or via disk utility (i think).

If it is the latter then it is possible you have deleted it.
