Have new MAC address, Time machine does not recognize it.Don't have the old MAC addy.

I have a 24" Dual Core IMAC, Snow Leopard 10.6.4 and have a new MAC address. My external hard drive (Time Machine) stopped working when I got the new MAC addy. The problem is that I do not have the old MAC addy. Is there any way to get my good IOMEGA hard drive to start working again with Time Machine? If so -- how?

If the drive failed, no matter what you connect it to, it will not work.
