Have the Environmental Specs Changed?

Not to sound like too much of a tree hugger or anything, but I was wondering if anything has changed with the new models from an "environmentally friendly" perspective? I didn't save a screen shot of the tech details for the old models. Here is the environmental specs of the new models.

for all the nonsense about how enviromentally friendly they are, Apple seems to sell a lot of stuff that requires batteries. why can't they sell a wireless mouse like my MS Mouse that is wireless but has a charger that plugs into a USB port.

They now have their battery charger that comes with 6 AA batteries.

and it's $30. my MS Mouse was $30 and doesn't need an extra battery charger. and i don't have to worry about switching and losing batteries
