Thinking about picking up a 250GB HD to put in my MBP so I can put all my music/pictures on my internal drive and wanted to know if Apple will replace my stock drive if I bring in a drive I purchase off Newegg? What will the cost be to have the Genius Bar do it?

I've seen the DIY guides but don't want to hurt Apple Care.

i've heard the genius bar wont do it. period. But a certified apple technician will for a fee 50-100$ ... so yeah, check that out if your interested!

Now will that not hurt the Apple Care if I use a certified Apple Technician? Also how do I go about finding one?

Thanks Cookiemonster for the help :)

If I'm not mistaken it will not hurt the warranty, but call apple and ask just to double check. What I would do is get an harddrive enclosure and just partition everything over. There are a lot of threads here on how to do it, and if you google it you will see it too. Its pretty simple. And I'm in the market for the 250gb drive on Newegg.com for my macbook, let me know how it is if you get it.
