Apple has proposed again to replace the panel on my Imac 27". I have the usual grey band and yellow, though no dead pixels. And the yellow along the bottom is spread out evenly, not in waves. In fact I was sent a replacement of a new Imac this week, still the first revision week 26, and the screen was worse, including either cracked glass or objects behind the glass.
Have there been many people who were satisfied with a panel/display change ending in a satisfactory screen.
thanks

The cause of yellowing is the LED backlight so replacing the panel doesn't really help. If it has already been replaced, ask for a brand new machine or a refund and then get a new one

The Imac is 4 months old. they sent me a new one, which I mention above, but it was no better so as of now I have the original one. They have offered to bring it in for repair, which I presume will be changing the display or whatever is necessary to address the yellow issue, the grey band along the bottom, and the buzzing that occurs when diminishing the luminosity. I don't want to go through this exercise for nothing, so I'm wondering if some people have had at least most of the issues solved with a repair.
thanks
