Have to DL again?

I just got my iPhone 4 a month ago and I downloaded iOS5 today and while it was DLing I went to do some errands, I come back it completes about 5 minutes later and then it says it timed out... Now I have to spend 4 hours to re download it again... why is this?

Because tons of people are trying to download it at the same time and the server is being overloaded with requests.
