iPod have to have credit card?

I would like to know do you have a credit card? as i turn 18 in a number of days and i want to get a itunes account as i am getting an iphone and i only want to add credit to my account using them gift cards as i do not want to have to get a credit/debit card.

That is the only way for them to bill you. I'd get a debit card and just chop it up if you don't want to use it.

Okay so if i get a mastercard debit card will they only bill me when buying apps? as i mite buy my iphone online using it as they have unlocked iphones on apples website here in AU now.

u can use paypal
