Have a strange recurring behavior that I can't seem to resolve. When I get home from work, my iPhone attempts to connect to the wifi and I get an "Incorrect password" prompt. I type in the password, and everything works fine for the rest of the day and through the next morning. Once I get back from work the next evening, we're back to needing to enter the password.

My home wifi network uses an eero mesh system (one eero pro, one beacon) and I'm using an iPhone 12. Both are fully updated.

This doesn't happen with the wifi at work, but it's not happening with any of our other devices at home, including my wife's phone (7+), which definitely leaves the house some during the day.

I've tried toggling private address, forgetting the network, resetting network settings, rebooting the phone, rebooting the eero. The issue persists.

Any ideas?

Have you tried to see if there are any updates to the router firmware?

Besides the Eero. Do you have another access point with the same SSID such as a router from your cable company? If you are using multiple access points with the same SSID and network key (password) but the encryption method isn't exactly the same. You can get this issue.

For example one is set for WPA2 AES and another WPA/WPA2 TKIP+AES. Will cause issues.

Setup is fiber into an ONT that does not include wifi router. Eero pro is used as the router. Eero app says that the eero is up to date. No other access points besides the eero pro and beacon.

Is this only occurring after a trip to work? Does your phone have any management profiles on it through your work, or is it entirely a personal device?
