Yes exactamenteI’m trying to decide what size I ultimately want to go with so I have both my M1 12.9” and M4 11” and yeah the scrolling looks wonky.
I have an 11” M4 iPad Pro and an M2 12.9 mini-led (the latter of which I’m selling). Ive used both side by side. I’d dispute the M2 being “unusable” - let’s be honest here, both are very good screens.Guys I encourage anyone to try the M2 IPS IPad Pro. It’s unusable after using Tandem OLED.
I’m sure comparing the 11” version of both would give different results.I have an 11” M4 iPad Pro and an M2 12.9 mini-led (the latter of which I’m selling). Ive used both side by side. I’d dispute the M2 being “unusable” - let’s be honest here, both are very good screens.
Superior response time of the OLED compared to the awful miniLED ones.I’m trying to decide what size I ultimately want to go with so I have both my M1 12.9” and M4 11” and yeah the scrolling looks wonky.
100% Correct there is a Major Thread on the MacBook Pro forums about this. Response times being 69ms and text smearing and trailing. I sincerely Returned my M3 MacBook Pro because when scrolling text the smearing trails are UnUseable.Superior response time of the OLED compared to the awful miniLED ones.
AoD could be a software update honestly as it already has the 10Hz to 120Hz the iPhone 15 Pro has which has AoD. Gotta get the MKB for wireless charging though ha but MagSafe would be cool for sure.I went to play with one at Best Buy today and I agree the screen while very nice is not worth the upgrade compared to the m2 pro. With that said once they go to always on display and wireless char I would consider upgrading then if ever .
The 2018 Pro, on the other hand, is still usable.Guys I encourage anyone to try the M2 IPS IPad Pro. It’s unusable after using Tandem OLED.
