Guys, has anyone Jail Broken their iPad? If so, have you noticed any difference in speed and performance?

I want to install a passcode protector for certain apps such as Mail, App Store etc to protect anything going wrong when my little terrors are using it. And Lockdown Pro seems to be the app to do this... but it's only available after a Jail Break.

When I was using an iPhone I always Jail Broke. And now that I'm on the awesome Nexus 5, I've Rooted that and love it.

Thanks mate. I looked at that App and it seems to do what I need, but for free. I don't need anything fancy such as finger recognition etc.

ive been out of the jailbreaking scense since prob ios 5 / 6 ish... im putting a mini in my vehicle as its AV center. so i jailbroke last night to use additional gestures, and additional dimming (dim & f.lux)...

it was so easy to do. the ipad mini is still running silky smooth no adverse effects. im trying to keep it light, no winterboard ect ect

IMO, just go for it.
