It is horrendous! Wtf is wrong with them, are they trying to piss off their user base? Rather than a bunch of thumbnails that you can quickly and easily look over to find a pic you want all of the photos are opened to full view and you literally have to scroll through every single one. There is no quick way to get through them. Awful.

Checking it now ...

I’m still getting a grid of thumbnails, and my general photos list is pretty interesting, it’s a grid showing some images larger - don’t know if that’s resolution and orientation* or some more complex algorithm to determine “interest”.

* We wrote a packing algorithm on the API side for the image thumbnail view in our app that created a nice square display from mismatching sizes, etc. Pretty cool stuff.

Has yours changed yet? For the main albums like profile pics and cover photos they're still thumbnail grids but the rest are a single horizontal column of the full sized images, completely unable to be zoomed or saved/copied. Very annoying and unintuitive as you now have to literally scroll the entire thing to find the picture you want or to see them all.

I'm not a fan of anything from Facebook post-Timeline. Timeline is pretty hard to use and dumb. The latest photo thing doesn't do anything for me either.

Facebook ads, now, they are awesome.
