It's a great way for freelancers to connect with their clients. You upload your work and send it to them. They head to the website, make VISUAL comments, and boom you get the feedback!

I would still get feedback like:

"Can you make the graphics more webbish?"

"It would look a lot nicer if the logo was bigger and you changed the font to Papyrus because really I like that font."

"Can you do the whole flash site in flash? Please put more videos in people like lots of videos on web pages it makes it far more interesting".

"I am after nice graphics, you know the kind where people say 'wow those are nice graphics'..."

And yes they were comment directly from client emails

Good point. On Thursday I sent an email asking this question:

Is the current text right? Do you want to make some changes at this stage because I need to fit the closest thing approximating final copy in the artwork.

To which the answer was:

Working in media you might have a better idea of what we could actually call the event.

Last time I looked, I am not their copywriter. Pulling teeth would be easier.

I was helping my gf with her school group presentation. I made a sample background with placeholder text and title and her group replied with "Why is it in Spanish? Can you change the text to English please?" :D I copied some text from the Apple site and they responded with "Why are we talking about Apple?"

I really like to call it "clientardation" it's the ability where client critiques and sheer ineptitude towards anything remotely design based. It's up there with "design firing squad execution" were the designs approved are completely committee based...

Don't get me wrong I love design and love creating something awesome for a client, but what really gets me is when the client give idiotic feedback and/or do not want to take any serious design advice.

I've just been using Redmark the last week and I can really say it's a great resource, I've also put a few suppliers onto it as well.

TY it's a really good resource and can't wait till the Beta is over.

Being very new to design I always feel some nervousness of asking for opinions, not if they dislike it, but if they decide to want strange changes.

I work at a publishing house where we sell advertising space.

Quite often I end up chasing clients for artwork and they come back to me and say "I thought you were doing it?".

To which I respond "I was going to but my telepathy unit is malfunctioning and all I know about your company is that you have booked an advert with x dimensions and your name is x. I could put your name in a box if you want?"

Clients... pfff.
