Nine days ago, on March 3, 2009, I ordered a brand-new iMac, 3.06ghz w/ ATI 4850, so it won't come til ~April 16. I also got a free printer.

I also got Applecare. All on the same invoice.

I received my printer last Friday, but I haven't received my AppleCare box yet? Am I supposed to?

Here's a screen of my order page...

I believe that it's automatic enrollment since you bought it from the Apple online store.

i received my imac on march 10th and i just got my applecare cd in the mail today (march 12th). although it didn't come in a box the way it's displayed in the online store; it came in an envelope with a cd, manual, and a certificate.

For what it's worth, and like another poster said, it's automatic enrollment. I haven't inserted the disc yet, but as far as i know, you don't really need it.

You can always call to ask if your mac is enrolled for applecare.

When i bought my iMac at the Apple store a year ago I bought and paid for Apple care on the spot and I was automatically registered and didn't have to do anything else.
