As I sit in traffic I was wondering if nyone saw anything about the ability to tether with the iphone. I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere and was curious if it was going to be an option. Thanks

tethering allows you to use your phone's connection to allow your computer to connect to the internet. Obviously it is a better experience on a 3G phone, however there are times when it's nice to get on the net on your comp when no wifi is available, so being able to use your phone's internet is nice. Cell companies charge you extra for this ability, but as long as you don't overuse it you can normally get by with an unlimited data package.

I've only heard rumors. But if there isn't a way, and yet there IS a way to tether a Treo that costs 1/3 the price and a data plan that is 1/2 the cost per month and 2-10 times as fast with Sprint... then I'll be upset.
