Having issues with Unlocked iphone 3g for t mobile

i have an unlocked iphone 3g that im using through tmobile. Unfortunately im having alot of issues with getting the phone to keep a proper connection so i can actually talk on the phone.I've changed the sim card and everything and im still having issues with coverage im getting alot of no service and searching messages..please help someone

I use Tmobile on my 3g and use the sidekick plan never had any dropped calls at all might be your location?

Turn off 3G.
