Hello Everyone!

I have iPhone 3G 8GB Black. It came with the 2.9 Firmware and i have upgraded it to 3.0, jail-breaked and unlocked. Now i was selling it so i decided to Erase all data but did not kept any backup. I have erased all the data from my iPhone which took almost an hour and then all i am seeing is just the Apple Logo on the screen with loading sign and sometimes only Apple Logo. I have tried to restore it through iTunes. It starts with the smooth process of restoration but when it is downloading that 234 MB file my phone automatically switches off in the middle of that downloading process and when the download completes i am seeing an error something like this "iphone is not connect with the Network please check your Network Settings".

kindly Help me out in this regard. I am really in great trouble.

Since you have now downloaded the file, you should not have to download it again. Hold down shift (for Windows) or option (for Mac) and click the restore button. Then choose your previously-downloaded .ipsw file.

Hey 'thelatinist' many many thanks for the tip. I was really unaware of that one. It was helpful. You saved my day :)
