Hey guys. Was trying to download the quickpwn 2.02 and I think I bricked the phone in DFU mode. All I get is a pineapple and an apple when trying to restore. When I hit restore in Itunes I'm stuck with this message:

The Iphone "Iphone" could not be restored. An unknown error occured (9)

Am I at a loss?? Anyone ever seen this before? What do I do to properly back this up? Any help would be greatly appreciated.:D

Solution

Hi, I had the same exact problem and same error message. I found a solution already. if you couldn't restore your iPhone on one computer, Please try it on different computer with different operating system. I had trouble restore my iPhone on Windows Vista, however, I restore my phone successfully on Acer computer with Windows XP operating system.

Hope this helps

Can you please say what OS you're doing this on please? Are you still getting problems or is all well now? I'm guessing you used QuickPwn, correct?

Just remember the latest version of Mac OSX (I forgot the exact name) will not recognize the iPhone in DFU mode, without a fix (such as a USB Hub).

Best of luck to you :D
