iPad Having trouble creating a new apple id

Hi everyone,
I haven't been on in quite a while but I recently bought a factory reset iPad from a friend. I'm trying to create a new Apple ID. I've tried several &a it continues to say that the Id I'm trying to recreate is taken.....I've tried 10.

Can someone help me with this PLEASE

Did you mean to say, "...I'm trying to recreate..." as in, create again? You can't re-create what already exists. Since you need to provide an email address... if these are your email addresses, it suggests you previously created Apple IDs for them.

What Apple actually says is that the Apple ID is already "in use." "Use" includes being used as an additional email address or as a rescue email address on a different Apple ID. So if you'd added those email addresses to other Apple IDs (yours or a family member's/friend's) then those email addresses would have to be removed from those accounts before you can use them as a new Apple ID.
