I'm trying to purchase an app that is $1.39. I have $1.49 on my balance via an Apple Gift Card that I want to use up.

I keep getting "We’ve run into a problem. Please try again later." right after I input my billing address, but no credit card info. I don't want to put my credit card info on there. Is it possible to use up my remaining balance without having to put in my cc information?

Is it an Apple Store gift card you’re trying to use or an iTunes gift card?

It's an Apple Store and Itunes gift card. I used it successfully before to buy something on iBooks. Now that I have $1.45 left, I can't seem to use the rest of it. I get that error message.

I’m not sure what’s going on. I wasn’t aware that there was an Apple gift card that you could use for both Apple Store and App Store purchases. I thought there were separate gift cards for both still. When I have an iTunes gift card to redeem, I just open the App Store, tap on my profile picture on the top right and tap “Redeem Gift Card or Code” (see attached pic) and have never had any issues. Unfortunately that’s all I can tell you. Hopefully someone else with more ideas will chime in soon. If all else fails, you can try giving Apple a call.
