Having trouble with metaX

hey

I'm trying to tag simpsons eps with metaX.

I'm starting at s01e01 and if i put "simpsons s01e01" or "simpsons 0101" or anything like that it won't find anything. So i try putting simpsons and just browsing the results until i find my 0101 ep, but it only returns like 20 results and i haven't been able to find the eps i want. any ideas/help/a better app too use?

If you're on a Mac, ditch MetaX and try iDentify2. It allows you to load entire seasons for tagging and its lookup references TVDB (much better source than TagChimp although it also use it for artwork). You'll be able to tag an entire season in a few minutes--has never failed me, including my seasons of the Simpson. And for reference, I name my file using the following format: Show name - SxxExx - episode title.

I tried MetaX, but a while back it stopped working. Now I am using subler instead.

Dump MetaX.

iDentify2 is extremely fast but not always the most accurate. Where identify fails me, I use iFlicks, which, though not as fast as identify, Ive found to be 99.9% accurate.

Naming...pretty much like everyone else...I use ShowName_SXXEXX. Works with both programs I mentioned.


Of course, this is assuming your using a Mac.

I use iFlicks and am very happy with the results. Very easy to use and the metadata is spot on.
