HD 6950 in Mac Pro 1.1

Hey,

I´m planning to buy an AMD Radeon HD 6950 for my 2006 Mac Pro. Is it possible to run in this Mac? I need a graphics boost.

My Mac specs:
2x Intel Xeon X5355 2,6 Ghz
8 Gb Ram DDR2 667 Mhz
Ati Radeon 2600XT 256 Mb
OS X 10.10 Yosemite

why not get a HD 7950 you can flash those and they will work on that Mac with the hacked OS

Do I have to flash the card? I don't care about starting screens, I need an plug 'n' play solution.

HD 6950 is not supported in macOS.

Hello how did you instal osx 10.10 in the Mac Pro 1.1?
