Hi everyone,

i currently have a MacBook C2D 2.0Ghz with 80GB HD and 1GB RAM but i want to upgrade to 2GB RAM and a HD of around 160GB to 250GB.

is there any recommended sites to use for the UK?

thanks

scan.co.uk everytime. Got my 2GB of RAM for my Macbook there and it's been great. Not sure if they have the 250 GB WD Scorpio in yet though.

scan.co.uk is expensive and the website is cluttered.

Go with dabs.co.uk

i've used them for years.

oh, and for RAM i'd always use crucial.com (/uk i think)

I like crucial, but it's not the cheapest - there was a thread a few weeks ago in this forum about the cheapest place for 2x2GB sticks; I know you want half that amount, but the site the OP in that thread linked to would be worth a gander.

I also like dabs, but have never found them particularly cheap.

Scan I also like - especially the deal for the days, which have some veritable bargains.

Although I've never used them, Novatech have been recommended strongly to me by several people.

Avoid eBuyer like the plague.
