Going to do a bit of Christmas shopping tomorrow, as well as looking for a 26 inch LCD which i will be using with my nice new MacBook.
I'm after some HD video that i can run through the sets to test and evaluate different panels. Can any one recommend any content that would be good for this. Ideally looking for something with black on white as well as some bright vibrant colors with a bit of fast moving action thown in for good measure.:D

Ive looked on the Quicktime website and the content there can't be downloaded without Quicktime Pro.

Can't you get the Apple ads in HD?
That would be a simple way of publicising Apple too.

"Hmmm, I'm not too sure about the picture quality, maybe I'd better watch another one. How powerful are the speakers on this tv?" :)

Well i stumped up a hole 3 quid and found Quicktime pro on eBay! Downloaded some of the Quicktime HD content. SO the less then helpful sales manager in Comet allowed me to plug the MacBook in to the TV, started playing the Batman HD trailer to a remark of "WOW" and "Is that coming from that silly little Laptop" from the sales man! Needless to say he did not get any commission from me, the sill little man!

But the MacBook is plenty capable of outputting to to this size in HD content and looking mighty impressive with no grainyness or pixelation!:p
