About time too .. I've just been told HD Movies are available to buy from iTunes..

The new Twilight Movie is the first one that caught my eye.. :D

Although this is fantastic news... Only one of the current Pre-Order movies are available in HD, which is quite surprising! Fingers crossed more will come. So glad they finally got the ball rolling on this! :)

it seems it's also only *just* kicked off in the UK store.. there are loads of HD films to buy in the US store, so I'm guessing it's been available like that for some time for the US ?

Yep, you can also buy them in HD from the 1st gen ATV as well. This is great news.

Prices seem to be good as well:-

The Experiment SD:- £9.99 HD:- £12.99
Pandorum SD:- £6.99 HD:- £7.99
Shifty SD:- £4.99 HD:- £5.99

So new releases seem to be £3 more and older films are £1 more.

Good news :)

I wonder if they read my thread yesteday? :D

The selection doesn't seem to match up with the US store yet, but it's certainly a start.

I spent an hour browsing on my ATV and there's actually quite a few, it's just there's no way to search the store for them, so finding them is pot luck. It would be nice if there was a category you could click on that just listed all the HD movies to buy.

Hopefully they'll formally announce it on Tuesday (when they do updates to the iTunes store) with some sort of dedicated section.

I must say, some of the prices aren't as bad as you would expect. I've seen them ranging from £5.99 - £12.99, and hopefully the library will increase over the next few weeks in the run up to Christmas.

Okay…Well, I'm gonna go over here into another thread now. Have fun with your, uhh…fantasies?
