HD space with Leopard & Vista

I’m really drawn to the SSD MacBook Air, but have concerns with the limited drive space.

Has anybody noted the actual drive space used and space remaining when only OS X and no other documents are installed?
How about after adding Vista under BootCamp?
And then adding Parallels?

Is the performance restricted because of the fairly low amount of available disk space?

Does anybody have a recommended partitioning plan?

Or should I give it up and buy a heavier laptop with a more reasonably sized HDD?

I have the 64 GB SSD and I don't you use the bootcamp partition. I don't like having to settle on a size for it. In my opinion, the better option is a VM with an expanding file size. I use parallels and I'm able to only use the disk space that I need to run windows.

OS X takes up about 10GB and so does Vista, so budget 20GB for both with Bootcamp, more with Parallels.
