I bought an HD tv show in itunes 8 and tried to sync it to my iPhone 3G and it says it cannot be played even though I have enough space available!! HELP!!

HD tv show won't sync to iPhone 3G in itunes 8!!

Maybe this is why an SD version is included when you buy the HD shows...The touch and the iphone can't play the HD format.
Just for reference, here are the recommended computer specs for playing that video:

Mac OS X:
1.8 GHz PowerMac G5 or faster Macintosh computer; 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo or faster
At least 256MB of RAM
64 MB or greater video card
Windows:
2.8 GHz Pentium 4 or faster processor
At least 512MB of RAM
64MB or greater video card
Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Vista

So you can see that the iPhone is a bit out of that league.
