HD video; FCS2 on MBP

From the Apple website, the requirements for FCS2 are as follows:

Capturing HD resolution video using the ProRes 422 format requires a Mac Pro with an Intel Xeon processor or a G5 Quad computer and a qualified third-party capture card.

Does this mean that you cannot capture HD video in 422 w/ the MBP?? Anyone have experience w/ this?
