Be aware that the vast majority of USB3/SATA docking stations are for SATA drives only (2.5" and 3.5").

The aliexpress dock in post 1 above can handle IDE drives as well, but no idea as to how well it will work. If you order it, please save this thread and come back with a review...

Is anyone seriously sitting on older IDE drives that they need to pull data off of? @MiniMacDonald if you don't have any PATA drives now with data on them, my guess is you never will (grin). There's no reason to be buying them now. If you have one or more that you need to get data off, yes, great choice is to get one of these multitaskers. Otherewise, forget about it!
