I have an HDD eject app as a login item, but won't eject one drive. If I open the app manually, all drives and partitions eject. It's a new Toshiba drive and before it I had no issues with this at login. I have another Toshiba drive that ejects fine. I redid the order of the eject sequence and put that drive first and put the eject app first in the user login items, still nothing. Any ideas?

What's the app? I'm interested in this, although i think you can just do it with an apple script, have you tried that?
Yes, I'm using the Automator app, but for some reason it refuses to eject one disk upon login.

My guess is spotlight or some other process is still hitting the drive after you login. Maybe add a delay to the automator script to let things settle out before attempting eject?

Ah, now that's a good idea. Not sure I know how to do that though. Lol. I'll try and play around with it.

EDIT: Ok, user error here. Apparently there were two copies of this application and my login items were pointing to the wrong one. Duh. After all that, I'm still adding a pause to it to let my sensor utilities load.
