So I am about to send in my MBP for a SECOND time, the first was for processor whine, for which they replaced the MLB and it worked. However, they also replaced the screen inverter and the one the gave me whines horribly, 10 times worse the the processors ever did. Also, they scratched up the bottom of the computer, which is totally unacceptable. Now, I just turned on my computer and noticed the HDD is making a noise like when you shake a can of spraypaint, like there is something loose inside. It is infuriating. Is there any way I can have apple add this onto my list of repairs before I send it in, or do I just hope that the tech has good ears...?

For the record, the HDD is working just fine, it is just very noisy. Any ideas on how it could have happened?

That is most likely the hard drive getting ready to die. I would call them and tell them about it before sending it in, seeing if they can add it to your case.

But I just got it in April! How can a HDD die that fast?! Gah. Now only if the phone would work...
