Guys, is there a way to run Drive Genius on Mac Air? The MA is getting slower by the day and I saw the same symptoms right before my iMac's HDD crashed. I want to run a HDD scan but Drive Genius requires that I scan a non boot drive. Since Target mode is not an option, I am out of ideas.

P.S. Yes, I have another Mac available.

You can just burn a CD/DVD to boot from. I don't remember how, but I know it can be done because I carry one with me.
