Some say it does some say it doesnt - but if I upgrade BOTH HDDs in a new Mac Mini, will I void the warranty or not??
I want to buy a new Mini Server with the 2x500GB HDDs, and replace both drives with a SSD and a 1TB drive.
Now, I understand if anything is damaged in the process then the warranty is void, which is understandable, but if not, then does the warranty still apply for the rest of the system??
The only other alternative is to keep the 2 drives I remove, and if anything happens in the future, place the 2 old drives back into the system before Apple look at it - and then replace my 2 normal drives once the system is repaired etc?
I guess Im just looking for a definitive answer as to whether it voids the warranty in the first instance or not??
