Hi,
I'm evaluating the Mac Mini as an HTPC, and have a specific question/requirement:
When you setup the Audio MIDI output to HDMI with 24/192Khz. Is that the maximum setting or will the Mac Mini re/upsample anything to that? (like the Apple TV2 resample anything to 16/48?).
One of the main objective is to output hi-resolution FLAC via HDMI (with VLC or XBMC). I would, obviously, would like to avoid any modification on the Mac and let my DAC do the work down the road. (I particularly would like to avoid 44, 88 or 176 to 192 resampling).
Thanks,
Stephane
