Hello,

I'm thinking of getting an Apple TV in the near future.

Can anyone recommend a good quality HDMI cable at a reasonable price and a good place to get it?

I don't really want to spend a lot of money (i.e. Monster Cable), but, would still like to purchase good quality cables from a reputable store.

Thanks in advance for any advice! :)

got mine from the apple store for $20... seems like a good cable..

I bought a HDMI-DVI from cablesforless.com a while ago that was just fine. I've bought several cables from them, in fact, and I've generally been happy with their products (and service). I bought the HDMI cable for my :apple:TV at the Apple Store though, because I didn't want to wait for shipping. The $20 cable the Apple Store sells seems perfectly good (though it's only 2m long).

I can't recommend monoprice.com enough. They have every cable/connector you could ever want and all at dirt cheap prices. They don't skimp on the cables either they are all top notch cables.

I can't second monoprice enough. I like the color coded cables they carry.
It's nice to go yellow to yellow instead of trying to trace a number of cables all the same color.

eBay also has some good deals.

Best Buy sells comfort cables, they make people feel like they are getting the best product by the outrageous mark ups.

Another recommnedation for monoprice.com. It is tremendous. Good quality and low price. You can't go wrong.

yeah Gold plated will make those 1s and 0s work so much better  :p

Seriously, save money and don't get gold plated
