I have my PS3, WII and Apple TV 2 each going to their own HDMI port on my Pioneer VSX 919 Receiver. The receiver then has an HDMI out port that goes into my LG 42' 720P LCD TV. I use the receiver as a switch and have never had problems with it in the past. I read a lot of the old posts here and nothing on it addresses my problem. Essentially I get video and audio but 1/4 of the screen is cut off on the left side. I'm not able to see the left hand side that has the movies. It's almost like my TV is not aligned and needs to be adjusted. When I connect the Apple TV directly to the TV I don't have the problem. It's only when using my receiver. The weird thing is that it actually worked once through my receiver but I was not able to replicate it. I have tried a different HDMI cable. I tried a different port on the back of the receiver. I have tried turning on the TV, the receiver and Apple TV in different orders. I'm not sure where else to go with this. I don't want to return it because I think it's a potentially great device but none of my other devices are having issues using the same port and cable so it has to be the way Apple TV is communicating with my receiver. Is there anything else I can try? Thanks so much in advance for your help.
