HDMI to Thunderbolt

Is there an adapter that will let me connect an HDMI peripheral, like a gaming system, to my LG Ultrafine 4k Display, which only has thunderbolt ports? I need an HDMI to Thunderbolt adapter, NOT an Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter. It's a subtle difference when typing, but a huge difference in functionality. Every search I do online, comes up with the TB to HDMI, which is the wrong direction. Hopefully, the adapter I need exists.
