I read some of the posts immediately following the release of the imac about how the glossy screens might cause some eye strain.
What can I do to minimize this? Right now I'm using my 24" imac at its lowest brightness setting, and I changed the gamma to 2.2 - it still seems exceedingly bright to me. I've got three different lamps going in my room and I have two windows - so its not like I'm sitting in the dark with the imac as my only source of illumination.
I used the imac last night when I got it for about 2 hours and again this morning, and both times I had a dull unfamiliar pain around my eyes after I used it. Is this something I will get used to? A fluke? Hypochondria?
