Hi all,

Have a problem that I'm hoping someone can help with. We have an iPhone first generation that we were using one of the Apple-sold headphone adaptors with. The tip of the adaptor broke off in the headphone jack and we can't get it out and the phone is stuck on headphone mode. We brought into an Apple store and they said they can't fix it. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Did you buy the extended Warranty. If yes, they should replace the phone. If not, try finding a place that fixes iPods or other phones, or contact the manufacturer of the adapter and ask them if they can fix it or can point you to someplace that can fix it.

take a small but firm piece of wire, dab a sparing amount of gorilla glue or epoxy and press it against the broken end of the jack. allow if to dry and it should pull right out.
