I'm thinking with the airpods max it'll finally be time for me to get a headphone stand for my desk..anybody have recommendations for good ones? I'm quickly running out of space and while I don't think with my setup i could use the type that goes under a desk (puppy problems), i'd be interested in any hook type things that can attach to a monitor

I think what I'll also definitely buy whenever it exists is some sort of overpriced apple/belkin/etc. charging stand with the lighting input. Save me Anker!! Has anybody caught wind of anything like this yet, or will third parties need to catch up following the announcement yesterday? (unclear to me if apple ever tells them these things in advance, besides with iphone cases?)

I just ordered this one:

Kind of looks like a bicycle seat but its design is sort of endearing to me. And I like the white. Very consistently highly reviewed. I'll pop back in here after it arrives and let you all know how I like it.

I had looked at this one too, which appears pretty clean:

I’d be very concerned about the long term effects of the traditional headphone stands on the mesh head support.

I can’t help thinking that it will cause some deformation over a period of time, potentially minimising the comfort.

The unibody option mentioned above seems a much better idea as I don’t like the idea of headphones just hanging there for hours and days at a time.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for the feedback. I always had the same concerns, thus I started to design my stand. I own several headphones at home (not Max yet ☹) and I wanted to store them in a better way than on hangers. Also, I wanted to create something universal – so the size of the headphones doesn’t matter. And I achieved that goal.

A headphone desk mount saves space.

Sure they will, but sometimes you want to show off your headphones on nice looking stand. And still, headphone desk mounts are hangers – so they compress headband.
