so im still having that issue where i have high pitch static on the headphone out of my mbp, dosent matter what program, its not as noticeable at low volume levels, but what im using it for requires higher levels, ~90db
i dont really want to take it in (to apple store) and be without it, and this is only a once a week thing at a specific location, otherwise i use the int. speakers or optical out, so i think im going to take my USB ext soundblaster up there and just leave that plugged in, and just use that...
tried changing cables last night, didnt help, neither does adjusting volume levels anywhere, and theres no EQ on it at all, ipod plugged into same cable dosent have static at all, it can be played as loud as i can get it, as clean as can be.
so unless ayone else has any ideas, usb ext. is the way im going to go.
thanks!!
